Bollywood singers have been no strangers to the Bigg Boss house. While they took part in the various seasons of Bigg Boss Hindi, we have loved seeing a side to our favorite Hindi singers that we couldn’t before. The Bigg Boss Hindi show has sure been a hub of controversy, but we all enjoyed watching our favorite celebrities show a side to themselves which they had never before. Such is firmly the case with Hindi singers who have taken continuous part in the show and had us glued to our seats in front of the TV. So, let’s take a look at all the Bollywood singers who have been Bigg Boss contestants and jazzed up the epic Bigg Boss house.
1. Baba Sehgal – Season 1
Baba Sehgal appeared as a wild card entrant in the very first season of the show. Even though he couldn’t last in the house for more than 20 days, it was sure entertaining as hell when he was in there.
2. Debojit Saha – Season 2
For those who do not remember, Debojit Saha had participated in and won the singing reality show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2005. He lasted in the house for about 69 days.
3. Ismail Darbar – Season 3
The man behind the legendary music and iconic songs of hit movies like Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, Devdas and Shakti: The Power had become a part of the Bigg Boss family in its third season.
4. Raageshwari Loomba – Season 5
Raageshwari Loomba was one of the few non-controversial celebrity guests on a controversial TV show. However, she believes that was the reason why she only lasted for a few weeks there.
5. Sofia Hayat – Season 7
This British actress and singer did not go quietly after making her appearance in the show’s seventh season. She got into a fight with fellow contestant Armaan Kohli and even registered a complaint against him after which the actor was taken into custody from the Bigg Boss house itself.
6. Ali Quli Mirza – Season 8
Most people know Mirza from his role as Shekhu in Mirzapur. But, for those of you who may not know, this was the man behind the superhit song “Bore Bore Hum” from the movie Bluffmaster!
7. Arvind Vegda – Season 9
Arvind Vegda is a Gujarati folk singer who participated in the ninth season of the show. He came into the spotlight with his super hit track, “Bhai Bhai,” which has over a million views on YouTube.
8. Dhinchak Pooja – Season 11
Even though she isn’t a Bollywood singer, we had to include her in this list due to the sheer amount of surprise and buzz generated upon her arrival in the Bigg Boss house as a wild card entry. Even though she only stayed for two weeks, she gave watchers of the show many moments to remember.
9. Anup Jalota – Season 12
Ever since Anup Jalota entered the house posing to be dating Jasleen Matharu, he has been the subject of various discussions and controversies. Regardless, the popular singer did give us many entertaining moments on the show.
10. Abu Malik – Season 13
Singer and composer Anu Malik’s brother Abu Malik was the oldest contestant of Big Boss 13. He had also appeared in the Salman Khan-starrer Jab Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya.
11. Rahul Vaidya – Season 14
Last but not least, we have our favorite Rahul Vaidya in the latest Bigg Boss season. Having first appeared in the first season of Indian Idol, Rahul has numerous hit numbers to his credit and has us rooting for him once again.
